Marla Hiken is the Director of Human Resources at Clearview Group. Marla is integral in strengthening and expanding the HR function by partnering with stakeholders across the firm to advance key strategic priorities and initiatives. Marla is responsible for building on and strengthening Clearview’s dynamic culture, attracting and developing talent, and providing them with meaningful and positive work experiences. She oversees all aspects of talent acquisition, performance management, policy, compliance, total rewards, employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and deep knowledge of the human resources field, Marla joined Clearview in June 2021 after more than 12 years at The Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, a central fundraising, community planning, allocations, and umbrella organization for a network of agencies. While there, she held roles of increasing responsibility and built out the talent management infrastructure, developing a team to support those efforts.
She has been certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by HRCI since 2012 and more recently was recognized by Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) in 2019.
Marla attended Towson University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
