Alissa is the Sustainability Manager at Clearview Group, bringing sustainability subject matter expertise to the ESG Advisory and Business Technology Solutions practices.
Alissa comes to Clearview Group with over a decade of experience in sustainability, spanning non-profit and policy work, advising investors on ESG, and, most recently, supporting public companies on corporate sustainability strategy and disclosure. She began her career working in cosmetic research and policy for the Environmental Working Group and in the office of former U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, Chair of the Environment & Public Works Committee. Alissa went on to participate in various environmental and climate campaigns to enact change. It was through that work that she went on to develop a passion for ESG investing and, subsequently, Sustainability strategy, corporate disclosure, and regulation.
Most recently, Alissa came from Institutional Shareholder Services at ISS-Corporate, where she worked with public companies on investor expectations, ESG ratings, sustainability strategy, best practices, and disclosure. She is passionate about supporting companies in the work of responsible governance, implementing circular economy mechanisms, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Alissa graduated from American University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies.
