Real Property Tax Expert Joins the Clearview Team - Martin Lutsky

Hunt Valley, MD, December 2, 2015:  Brian Davis, Managing Director and CEO of Clearview Group, LLC, has announced the addition of Martin Lutsky as Senior Manager within its State & Local Tax (SALT) practice.  

With a specialization in Real Property Tax, Lutsky will lead Clearview’s SALT team through all property related matters in office, retail, industrial, healthcare, and multi-use properties.

Lutsky, a recognized authority in the real estate field, brings more than 25 years of experience in real property valuation, acquisitions, negotiations, assessment appeals and property tax compliance throughout the United States.  He began his career working as a negotiator and appraiser for the U.S. Department of the Interior and quickly moved into property tax management, taking positions with the Howard Johnson Company/Marriott Family Restaurants. A large portion of Martin’s career was spent with The Rouse Company, where he was directly responsible for minimizing the tax liabilities of the company for nearly 300 owned properties, as well as managed properties and community development projects.  Martin also served as a Realty Specialistfor the General Services Administration (GSA) in Washington, D.C. and was the Senior Director of Real Estate Tax for the Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (an office REIT).
